Where does our food come from?
Grains, vegetables and fruits, meat, eggs, and dairy foods - where do these different food groups come from? Children will discover such things as how grains are grown in fields, which "vegetables" are really fruits, where certain fruits grow, and the importance of pollination. A special section features two natural sweeteners - honey and maple syrup - and another section gives children suggestions for eating healthy foods, such as beans of all kinds and foods made with whole grains.
